Olga Terebenina is a Co-founder and Director of Holistic Healing Therapy LTD. She is a qualified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, a Level 3 Usui Reiki Ryoho Master Teacher, a Yoga Teacher, a Crystal Healer, and a Sound Therapist. Olga is a blogger for The Huffington Post.
Olga finished her 200hours Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India. She is currently teaching Traditional Himalayan Style Yoga in South West London and Surrey, UK.
Olga’s currently works with the media, charities (including Surrey Wildlife Trust and Wildlife Aid), communities, and business groups, including Surrey Chambers of Commerce, on raising awareness for health, wellbeing, and environmental issues. Olga works with businesses creating mindfulness-based health and wellbeing programs aimed at improving the quality of work and productivity in the workplace. Mindfulness programmes also make savings on the corporate bottom line.
She has worked with people of various ages and backgrounds, which has helped her analyse certain problems from different perspectives. Her interest in psychology and life coaching helps her better understand people and their needs. Olga’s caring and nurturing character assists her with each individual and every being.
Being a philosophy graduate, Olga continues her studies of ancient schools of thought and logic, which helps her better understand metaphysical issues connected to her work.
Olga’s special interest lies in exploring Buddhism, especially Mahayana school which teaches us that anyone can reach enlightenment in a single lifetime, and Orthodox Indian Schools, including Samkhya which says that the only way to liberation is through getting rid of the ‘bondage’ created by disbalance. Being an initiated member of the Taoism society, Olga has a deep interest in studying this school of thought whose Three Treasures are compassion, moderation and humility. As a member of the Self-Realisation Fellowship founded my Paramahansa Yogananda, she profoundly studies lives of the Indian enlightened yogis and techniques that they used for reaching enlightenment and liberation. Being born and having spent her childhood in Russia, Olga continues studying Russian spiritual traditions.
Olga has a profound interest in exploring different cultures and traditions while traveling, as well as visiting ancient sites and natural treasures of the world. Olga has travelled to many locations including the USA, Mexico, France, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Egypt, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Jordan, Israel, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, the Republic of Singapore, the Republic of Maldives, the Sultanate of Oman, and others. Olga finds that travelling helps her better understand human nature and also widens her perspective on things. Olga is fluent in Russian, English and French, and continues to study Mandarin Chinese.
