Traditional Himalayan Style Yoga

This is a new yoga class in our weekly schedule of events. Hopefully, this will serve as a good alternative for anyone who can’t make our Sunday evening classes in East Molesey.
There are many documented health and wellbeing benefits of doing yoga. “Yoga participants report better sleep, increased energy levels and muscle tone, relief from muscle pain and stiffness, improved circulation and overall better general health. The breathing aspect of yoga can benefit heart rate and blood pressure”.
Trained in India, we are teaching traditional Himalayan style yoga. Yoga is a balance between mind, body, and spirit. Our yoga practices combine all three elements – physical workout in the form of yoga postures; exercises to extend vital force (also known as prana or chi/ki) – pranayama; and spiritual practices – in the form of mantra repetition and concentration on internal states of consciousness throughout the practice.
In our physical practice, we will focus on warming up and opening exercises. Simple yet profound, they are aimed at increasing the flexibility in the body and are highly recommended for anyone with stiff joints, flexibility issues, those new to yoga, or anyone who wants to deepen their yoga practice. The result is a thoroughly profound yogic practice aimed at boosting health, increasing energy and vitality, lifting the spirits, improving mood, and increasing mental and physical strength, stability, and balance.

We offer a package of 6 sessions for £59. We also offer yoga and gong bath packages – book a yoga session and a gong bath, and pay £20 instead of £24! Please, be aware that WE ONLY REFUND THE TICKET PRICE NO LATER THAN 72 HOURS (3 DAYS) BEFORE THE SCHEDULED EVENT STARTS. Please, contact us if you need a refund (please, note that Paypal charges will be deducted from the refund amount). PLEASE, KINDLY NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR NON-ATTENDANCE.
WHAT TO BRING:
We have yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and eye masks – you are only advised to bring a bottle of water.
ADVISE FOR BEFORE AND AFTER THE EVENT:
We advise you to eat three or more hours before the event and drink plenty of water after the event. Water can help facilitate the detox process. We also encourage you to wear loose fitting clothes for your comfort.

We kindly ask anyone attending the event to read our TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Please, be aware that by clicking “RSVP YES” and paying for your ticket, as well as coming to the event and paying there, you confirm you have read and agreed to our TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Minors: Please, be aware our yoga classes are aimed at adults. We ask that 16 and 17 years olds are accompanied by adults (guardians or parents), and we will need a written consent letter from their parent/guardian. We can not admit anyone younger than 16 years old (sorry!).
Medical conditions/prescribed medications/pregnancy: We advise those who are pregnant to abstain from our events. If you have any medical conditions, are on a prescribed medication, or have any concerns, please, see your GP and inform him/her about attending our yoga sessions, this will allow your GP to give appropriate advice. If you currently experience or have a history of serious health issues (including mental health issues, operations, medical procedures, seizures, implants, special needs), please, inform us before the event.
