Cacao, Gong and Forest Bathing

Our beautiful and serene new location at Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary Shere has allowed us to create an exciting new event combining Gong & Cacao with Forest Bathing; this is a surprisingly powerful, delightful and profound combination. Due to the success and feedback from our last 3 hour event, we have created a longer half day workshop. We are very excited to see how guests enjoy this event!

Harry Edwards has a beautiful and uplifting energetic atmosphere, this should add to your enjoyment. If you are like us, you will feel the unique atmosphere upon arrival and enjoy the bunnies, birds, and animals as you walk to the wedding marquee. From the marquee, you can enjoy stunning views across the Surrey Hills.

To start: an introduction to the session and a gentle and relaxing gong bath, once everyone is relaxed, we will hand out the Cacao and invite you to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, gardens and stunning views across the Surrey Hills AONB. We will take a short walk into Sanctuary Woods before sitting down to enjoy our Cacao. We will explain the basics of Forest Bathing, how it works and how to do it. We can then enjoy exploring the beautiful trees with a mindful and sensory-driven approach. The Cacao will significantly add to this experience.

A central part of Cacao ceremonies and Forest Bathing is group sharing. Sharing is always optional – if you prefer to listen that’s fine. The reason we invite everyone to share is to create an opportunity to help each other.

We will finish with a second Gong Bath to take you deeper within.

PRICE:

Single Ticket: Paid in advance = £45. ( We will send our bank details if you contact us to book). Paypal Price = £48. Price on the door = £48.

Concessions (students, pensioners, benefit recipients): PLEASE, CONTACT US. We will ask for evidence of eligibility.

HOW TO BOOK A PLACE:

To guarantee your place, RSVP YES on Meetup and pay via Paypal or bank transfer. You can also pay at the door. Please, let us know you are coming.

REFUND POLICY:

WE ONLY REFUND THE TICKET PRICE UP TO 3 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. Paypal charges will be deducted. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR NON-ATTENDANCE.

WHAT TO BRING:

We provide yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and eye masks. We advise you to bring a bottle of water.

ADVISE FOR BEFORE AND AFTER THE EVENT:

We advise you to eat light before the event and drink plenty of water. Wear loose-fitting clothes.

Minors: Please, be aware our events are aimed at adults 18+ due to their profound nature.

Medical conditions/prescribed medications/pregnancy: We advise those in the first trimester of pregnancy to abstain. If you are pregnant, please, inform us before the event. If you have any medical conditions, are on prescribed medication, are pregnant, or have any concerns, please, see your GP and inform them about attending, this will allow your GP to give appropriate advice. If you currently experience or have a history of severe health issues (including mental health issues, operations, medical procedures, seizures, implants, special needs), please, inform us.

Cacao can potentially conflict with Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), which are a are a widely used type of antidepressant medication, if you are taking this medication, please consult with your GP before signing up.

Allergies: if you have any food allergies, or think you might have cacao or nut allergy, please, see your GP before the event.
