There are many reasons why we go into nature. Some go to relax at the end of a hard day, others go for health benefits of spending time in nature (which you can read about here). But how many of you actually go into nature to feel that magical feeling of being surrounded by the abundance of life? Just think – how many animals, insects, plants, and different organisms you can find in 1 squared meter of land in the woodlands? How much more you can see and feel of something you have never noticed before?
Indeed, nature is a magical place – so many things to explore and learn about it… What we advise is each time you go into nature, try to switch off you mind. Sometimes we get so many thoughts in our heads due to a fast pace of life that it can be difficult to do that. Simply try taking deep long breaths from your stomach – you can be surprised at the results! Once your mind has become quieter, just try to notice things around you. Simply notice them and explore like a child that lives inside each of us… Do you notice something new, something different? Maybe, a new plant, or the unusual fragrances in the air? Sometimes this simple mindfulness technique can lead us to wonderful and magical places. For instance, your gaze will get caught by a flower – the most beautiful flower you have ever seen. You will want to get closer and explore it more, not being able to take away your eyes… Yet the passer-by might just quickly glance at the flower, and yet not find anything of interest in it…
It is YOU who create magic in your life, and by being mindful and exploring the world like you are looking at it from the first time you can bring magic even in the most ordinary, routine things in our lives. And magic is all the life is about! ENJOY and savour every moment – we live only from one moment to the next.
Are there any specific places you go to feel magic in your life? Maybe, it is your local park, or woods, or lake? Or do you find magic in every moment of your life?
We would love to hear your stories!
